T here have been many Black child prodigies throughout history who have excelled in various fields at a young age. Here are a few examples:
- Alia Sabur: Alia Sabur became the youngest college professor in the world at age 19, when she was hired as a full-time professor of Konkuk University in South Korea. She had started college at the age of 10.
- Tanishq Abraham: Tanishq Abraham is a child prodigy who earned a degree in mathematics and physics at the age of 14. He has published several papers in scientific journals, and has given talks at international conferences.
- Akiane Kramarik: Akiane Kramarik is a child prodigy and artist who began drawing at the age of four and painting at the age of six. She is known for her spiritual and realistic paintings, and her work has been featured in galleries and museums around the world.
- Adora Svitak: Adora Svitak is a child prodigy and writer who began writing at the age of four and has published several books. She is known for her speeches and writing on child empowerment and education.
- Reginald F. Lewis: Reginald F. Lewis was an African-American lawyer, businessman and philanthropist who became the first African-American to build a billion-dollar company, TLC Beatrice International. He was a child prodigy, reading at the age of two and graduating high school at the age of 16.
- Kimora Lee Simmons: Kimora Lee Simmons is a former fashion model and the creative director for Baby Phat. She began modeling at the age of 13 and became one of the youngest fashion models ever to grace the cover of the prestigious Vogue magazine at the age of 14.
- Keedron Bryant: Keedron Bryant is a child prodigy and gospel singer who became famous after his song "I Just Wanna Live" went viral on social media. At the age of 12, he has already released a EP and performed in several events.
These are just a few examples of Black child prodigies who have excelled in various fields at a young age. They have shown that with hard work, dedication and support, young people can achieve great things, regardless of their background.
